[Dead] Dead 7830 (more or less...)

    My 7830 suddenly went dead...

All lights on on the front panel when soft power go on, nothing else happens.

Status led shows '8.', J300 5V is OK, checked on the SBC, CR4 is OK, CR7 is always off, CR9 is always off.
hdd is good (good SMART data, work fine on the PC), SD card is good.

The only 'twist' it had (/stil has) is that the CPU fan on the SBC makes noise, I received the new one the day after the copier died...

Any piece of advice before it goes through the window ? ;-

Re: Dead 7830 (more or less...)

OK, SD card was dead... I received an image from a helping hand, and after flashing, it tried to boot... but remained stuck with the 7-segments showing 'A.' (blinking dot) and CR14 blinking on the mainboard.

I thus inserted a USB drive with the latest (75.011.11100) software (it had a previous version before), and the FORCED_UPGRADE file, after a while, it said the upgrade was complete, and asked to remove the USB drive and to press '0' on the front panel...

And after many, many reboots... it's back online (but I'm not too sure the counter values are those from my machine ?? although I didn't check recently...)

    Happy end thus.
