    Versant 80 background contamination

I have a Versant 80 which has a lot of background contamination. The contamination is pretty obvious and when I watch at 100x magnification, there's spots in all 4 colours. I have already changed the 2nd BTR to no effect. What would be next, ITB?

It looks like you need the developer replacing.

You might be able to try a clean toner cycle a few times or tweak the toner transfer settings and re-calibrate the colours (If you have the spectrophotometer pack). I don't think that will make much difference though.
I usually check the HFSI counter to see what is coming up for renewal. I'd recommend changing the suction filter as well, these rarely get changed out.

Change the IBT cleaning belt, just 2 screws on the right side.

I had a similar issue with my versant 180. Xerox have no idea what is causing the issue though it seems to be leaning toward toner manufacture changes.
