[Dead] Altalink C8155 Scanner unusable after cleaning mirrors

Hi, I am working on a Altalink C8155 that the scanner had a gray background before I started.
I cleaned the mirrors and lens and now the scans have a serious color overlay.
I used a light to make sure the lens and mirrors are clean, but it does not get any better. They look nice and clear.

I tried going into service mode and adjust the glass position.

Please look at my picture and let me know what could be the problem. The scanned sheet was a white sheet with black line squares at an angle.

I have no idea what to try next,

Turns out I had one if the mirrors reversed after cleaning.

Maybe I am missing something. Is there a reason you needed to remove the mirrors? Can you just clean them in place?

As far as the grey background, did you try turning on the Auto-backround suppression? It should be in the list of settings to make a copy and you can make it a default if you log in as admin. Of course, it will make your copies a little lighter.
