    DC240 with minimal use over the years...what is this a symptom of??

    splotchy cyan spread across the lower half of the page, different fusers tried.
    Unit machine status claims drums are 'ready'

    move the cyan drum to yellow and this splotchy print quality followed ... drum?

      I'm not sure that I know what defect you are referring to. If you mean the 17% K background ... I think I would look at a black component, not cyan. Note: cyan: 0% =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

        It's a bad samsung phone photo. It's cyan. When I swapped the color drum which was in place for cyan with the yellow drum, the '17%' followed to the yellow drum.

          There you go. Bad drum. Replace the drum that isn't printing well with a new one.
