7665 comm failure

My customer has a 7665 that boots up with 'host to host usb communication failure'. From what I remember it's either the firewire cable/loose connection, or the firewire pwb. Is that correct?

I will see what the actual fault code is tomorrow, just wanted to bring the right parts. They are very old and I'll try to upgrade him.

Yes or could be software corruption. Do you have the software and program to reload if necessary?

Thanks Milo. I have 40.33 and vaguely remember how to reload it. I have a new cable and a couple pwbs.
