    Xerox Altalink B8065 DADF multifeeds

Hello, i have a problem since some time with few machines B8065/75 with multifeeds. This happens with new spdh feed rolls so i guess either xerox produce defective retards or some of feeding components failing me. The problem sometimes happens alot and sometimes not at all. Im testing mostly with sets of 20 sheets, 1 side, long edge and sometimes it gives 19 pages on the counter sometimes its 20 all the time and i just cant catch the problem. Also this happens for now... on 2 machines. One is B8065 1st generation spdh with tag1; 2nd machine B8075 scan tags:1,2,3,5,6,7. So i got alot issues with the B8065 like 1st it started with alot feed jams cos the default mylar guide of the retard roll wasnt proper so ive changed it with some of the inovator kits and it fixed the jams cos mylar was short but atm im almost 100% sure its causing the retard to slips now so im trying to shorten it but the effect seems not fixing the multifeeds permanently. Ive also installed the kit for the even wear of the retard but it seems to cause issues too. So if u got any tips it will be very helpfull. Thx u.

Is there a DF separation adjustment? If not, I have had success installing weaker (yes, WEAKER) separation springs to increase page separation. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is only skew adjustment in the dadf, no feeding one. U mean stronger spring? Since it seems 2 sheets r feeded sometimes cos the retard dont push strong enough. Ive kinda ignored the spring till now i focused on the length of mylar cos its mentioned in buletins to cause problems. Ill try check with different springs thx.

Pad separation increases page separation with a stronger spring.
Roller separation increases page separation with a WEAKER spring.

        Which do you have? =^..^=
