    Primelink C9065 fuser jam 077-106

    I’m having what seems like multiple issues with the fuser on a c9065. With plain paper it appears to do one of 2 things;

    1) the leading corners catch on something and fold down and back. This appears to happen right after the paper exits the fuser nip because it’s not a hard crease. I first though my issue comes from cured toner buildup on the fuser feed brush, but after cleaning removing the buildup it still sometimes folds back paper.

    2) prints with heavy amounts of toner will cling and wrap around the top fuser roll.

    I have recently replaced the fuser due to the same issue.
    I have cleaned all the paper sensors the I found. I don’t think it’s a sensor issue anyway because the paper actually does catch on something; I just can’t figure out what

    i am using Xerox plain copy paper. This happens with other light media; no issue with anything heavier.

    Now that I think of it, these two issues are probably the same thing; paper clings to the fuser roll and catches on the exit guides. Could this be an electrostatic issue?

      So no one else has ever had issues with paper wrapping around the fuser?

        Did you replace fuser assy or just fuser roll?

          I replaced the entire fuser. Old fuser had the little upper foam rollers missing or damaged and lower roller had a rough look to it.

            I'm not sure what the problem is, but it's not impossible the replacement fuser has the same issue as the previous one.

              2 things you can check, first check fuser pressure, the top of the pressure spring screws must be level with the cover, if thats okay then split the fuser and adjust the deflector plate on the fuser roller closer to the roller. also found the teflon tape on that deflector sometimes causing interference
