    Xerox belt assembley DC12

Could anyone tell me where the belt assembley is that is pictured? I get the same code and have had Xerox service on this machine so many hours and the still can't seem to figure it out thiught I might as well try to fix my self. I'd never do anything with xerox again. aslo watch out for Icon they will screw you any way that they can. Don't fix machines that you bought then youy can't make money to pay them they don't care will just sue you. Don't get into any contracts with any of these companies. I still need help getting my machine running only 117.017 total copies. Thats expensive coping.. Any help would be appreciated.

Open the front door. pull out the drawer assembly (green lever). on the sides of that assembly is a rail that holds it -- you need a pointed object to insert in the hole of the rail on both sides.. to extend the pull of the drawer assy.

After that, turn the drum lever CCW (lite orange/ beige).. on that black (inner) cover are 2 screws- remove them. pull (not turn) the drum lever towards you and that will pull the whole ibt assembly.

to remove the ibt assy, take out the screw that holds the drum lever. remove drum lever and black cover. Now you can take out the ibt assy.

when you look closely at the assembly, there is a cleaner assembly on one side that is held by 2 screws - remove it. Vaccum the cleaner assy especially the brushes on each side

Most ec3-380 is caused by a dirty IBT patch (silver patch on the black belt) and the dusty brushes on the cleaner assy. HOpe this helps
