C60/C70/C9065 Toner

Could someone provide insight into why toner labeled for C60/C70 wouldn't work in a C9065?
I was under the impression that if the cartridge fits and the color matches, it should work. I am getting a "error reading cartridge" error when I try to use these. Is there some sort of compatibility matrix?

They have different part numbers, the chips are different. You should change the toner chips for these to work.

So where does one source chips?

I have other working toner that are designated Xerox color 550, 560, 570, C60, C70 (no mention of PrimeLink) , that work fine in the Primelink C9065. These non-working are just labeled for C60, C70. I'm thinking there ought to be some compatibility chart somewhere.
