    Docucolor 260 dots

    Hi,
    yesterday i bought a docucolor 260 and at the seller it was printing fine, when I got home it started making a little dots of yellow and magenta. Where is usualy the problem?

    Sometimes this happens if the internet blade isn't cleaning off the belt properly you can check that.
    Also see if there is extra developer spilling from the two units you mentioned.

      If the dots are consistent, in other words there is always the exact same space between them (which is easier to see on 11x17 paper), that is called a repeating defect and you can determine exactly which part is causing it based on the distance between the dots. (Because the distance would be dictated by the circumference of the item that causes the dot, and the various rollers all have different circumferences, and therefore, different fingerprints.)

      HOWEVER, you said you just relocated the machine. So it is very possible that what you're seeing is just some mess that got loosened by all the jostling of transport and is now falling down onto the paper.
