    C7030 charge bands?

Hello all , I have versalink c7030 that does random charge bands in the main scan direction , have swapped and replaced drums and replaced the hvps with no change , the firmware is current , see pic attached , paper feed is long edge first. Any additional thoughts will be appreciated!

    regards!

All four drums are involved in the defect. So remove the fuser, reseat it and correctly tighten screws.
If that do not works replace PL 40.05 = Drive assy.

I wanted to laugh at your suggestion as it makes no sense, but sure enough there is a Xerox community bulletin for this suggestion with exact symptom

Really? All 4 drums were replaced originally! Replace the main drive assy? For charge banding? Typical Xerox I didn’t see anything in prolibro tip wise that states that and that’s bizarre as a fix goes and why reseat the fuser? Again any info is appreciated! Changing the drive is a huge pain on this model given all the boards gotta come out first ugh would prefer anything other than that, Now that said the floor the device is sitting on is far from level (tilted toward the back a fair amount, would properly leveling the device make a difference? It hasn’t performed badly otherwise aside from the bands shown. Could a twist to the device cause this if a tip is pointing at the main drive unit ?

          thoughts?

Do you think all hvps have an 'small breakdown' when you print on LEF A4? Look at the distance between the color lines and the order in which they appear. Then read PTO how Xerographics works and and how the main drive is built.

No need to be snarky I’ve never had that problem on any other device where a drive unit affects charge dropout , was just a statement , but being a Xerox I’m not altogether surprised either .
