WC 5855 Won't Boot - Please Wait, System Powering On

    Hello,

My WC5855 won't boot, displays green xerox page with 'Please Wait, System Powering On' at the top.

Don't know where to start. Please help.

        u with blinking light.
Service manual directs you to 303c, hard disk.
Strange thing is that after sitting powered down overnight, the machine started up and seems Ok today.

I would definitely make a clone, install a new HD, altboot, and put the clone back. Only a matter of time before the HD gives up.
