Re: Error on Fiery Xerox C70 : (
That’s only for the large Windows-based Fiery. For v1.0 was Windows 7, for v2.0 it was Windows 8.1, and for v2.1 it was Windows 10.
Because Windows was upgraded each time, each upgrade was a paid upgrade, and therefore you can’t just download the software and install it without a installation code. So if you were reinstalling you had to reinstall with the same version. (Unless you were upgrading, and had paid for the upgrade and had the installation code and one-time-use USB dongle needed to activate the new version of Windows that was included with the upgrade.)
For the Linux-based bustled Fierys, the latest version, also v2.1, is available to both generations of hardware. You can upgrade either the E200 platform Fiery (R7B) or the newer E300 platform Fiery (5PB) with the same file, freely downloadable from Xerox.com.
