    C8130 Pink Lines (Trailing Edge)

    Hi,

I have an issue on a C8130 where there are pink lines on the trailing edge of prints/copies on A3 only.

The lines are NOT in the same place and are NOT anywhere else on the page or size of paper only on A3.

I swapped the drum and the the LPH but still same issue.C8130 Lines.pdf

I can't see the lines on your samples, but that said, have you checked the transfer belt and transfer belt cleaner?

Ok so an update on this one!

I went back with Magenta developer unit, developer and a drum unit just to see if any of these would sort the issue
      BUT
the magenta line has disappeared completely The line had been on the prints/copies for 2 weeks and then randomly just gone
Left the customers happy but confused

its on the lead edge on the attached PDF as that's the way they got scanned (near the XEROX logo).

Okay, downloaded the PDF and I can see them now. Very weird. Seem too defined for a dev housing, but the L/R shift is too broad to point at a belt. I would have probably gone with a LPH as well. Either way, glad it cleared up. If you ever find out what it was post it here. I'd be interested in knowing.

          Thx
