1 or 2 month ago creo was updated with latest system software and SP because of customer was complaining that machine often asked for "null x null" paper size in MSI instead of one that had been set for current job. So I reloaded Creo sys sw but problem appeared once after booting upI disassebled MSI paper size sensor reseted connector ans cleaned sensor's surface. Problem appeared again!
But most interesting was that problem had been resolved by next way... I Sent job and while MSI was lifting up quickly took off all the sheets from it. Machine asked for correct stock and after this manipulation customer has forgotten about problem for present day
Now we have that described in first post. Afraid I have to reload IOT swComment

Current IOT Software Level
You didn't mention what the current level of IOT software on the machine is.
IOT load on this product is easy (although time-consuming if it's accessorized). If it needs an update anyway, why not ?
If the IOT load doesn't fix it, then you could reload the Creo software again.
The transient nature of the problem seems to indicate more of a hardware than software problem. But, doing the IOT load eliminates one more possiblity. I'd be very interested to hear what you found out.
More and more of these machines are being self-serviced (and that means a call to us when they get stuck).Comment

14 is unstable
Xerox immediately discontinued use of 14 and released 15 due to stability problems.
16 is currently the latest.Comment

11 was the "fallback" version
11 is supposed to be very stable, was used to fallback to if you had problems with later versions. I think it lacks some features like HCF support, maybe newer finisher support, can't remember. Perhaps thats the heart of your problem -need newer version? Unlikely though if it was working fine with 11
There is usually a language disk with the multi-lingual support. It's not shipped with the software in the US, but comes routinely with European distribution. I don't know if that includes Russian.
Multi-lingual support disks are version specific. Luckily, the 250 is a VERY common machine. Maybe one of the European posters could help?Comment
