    Altalink C8045

I may need to order a system disk from Xerox. My pws shows the part number as 121E28131. When I called to check the price, they said the part number was not valid.

In past years, they would tell me the new part number and price, so I could keep track. Does anyone know what the new number is? I appreciate your help.

Thanks, I will do that. My error is the same as the other tech's 316-720. I have reloaded software, no issues. Replacing the hdd on the C80xx and the C81xx family, gives me the decrypt error, like his. Can I get a copy of your pdf 'read me procedure'? I can get the other files, just want to read what process is involved in reloading the dlm. That would get me on track for future issues.

        Thanks,
        Mike

Nothing special. Put the files on root of the usb stick and perform Altboot like normal.
          After that do machine settings.

As adriansto said, nothing special, you just need special altboot files
