In diagnostic mode dc132 there is Machine identifier code. Requires passcode.

How did the copier lost its data?
Have you old machine configuration report?

322-352-00 Serial number lost/missing. A Password routine may be required to write serial number

If you dont change any machine pwb then try to fix 362-310 error. Folow the procedure from service manual also for 322-352 error
This 362-310 error can block the serial resincronization of the pwbs.

The customer told me that he performed an nvm initialization. Could that be the problem?

Ussualy no problem from initialization but big problem if he did switched or changed pwbs.

check nvm battery then
reinstall firmware AltBoot with FORCED_UPGRADE file and DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP
Make sure the activation SIM is in place

I managed to get the machine to recognize the 7530 model again, but the serial number still doesn't see it. Always no serial.
Is the SIM unique or is one SIM of that model enough?
