[Error Code] DocuCentre S2520 error 010-311

hey everyone - Merry Christmas!

i attended this machine and the Upper Fuser Roller was scored by a picker finger leaving marks down the prints - so i replaced the UFR, bushes, drive gear, picker fingers and cleaned the built up toner off the two thermistors

in removing the caked toner from the centre thermistor, i damaged it such that it went open circuit, resulting in error 010-311, i ordered a replacement thermistor set (both centre and end thermistors in one), fitted them and the machine still registers error 010-311 (yes i double checked both thermistors with my multimeter, old one was open circuit, new was 370k ohms and dropped when heat was applied)

for the life of me i cannot find a service manual for this machine, except for one printed in Chinese which doesn't help even with the benefit of google translate

i know how to get into CE mode- hold 0 for 5 seconds, then press PRINT, then enter 5678 , OK etc

can anyone tell me what chain-link resets this error code?

Hi,

for above error code no reset nvm for it .i just change center thermistor can solve the problem.

probably compatible fuser problem.

xerox fuser if you use compatible. make sure the material is same.

Check whether the original material is steel or aluminium.

if it is steel, then the compatible parts must use steel.

NVM [744-040]

To clear this Fail, first remove the cause, next clear the value of NVM [744-040] (Over Heat Temp Fail) to 0, and then turn the power OFF then ON. The relationship between the displayed value and the Thermistor that detected the high temperature error is as follows:

• 0: Normal
  
• 1: High Temperature Error of Heat Roll Center Thermistor
  
• 2: High Temperature Error of Heat Roll Rear Thermistor
