3 questions to ask about xerox dc252

Hello friends. I have 3 questions to ask you.

    1) can I use other toners from other xerox machines for the xerox dc252 toners? this without changing chips. they told me about the xerox 700 toners

    2) the fiery rip that I used on the xerox dc242 (EXP260), can I use it on another xerox machine?

    3) where can I buy original consumables for the xerox dc252 with shipping to Italy and at cheap prices?

    Thanks to all

      1) could it be possible that a friend of mine uses xerox 700 toners on his machine which is a xerox 7655? he always told me that when he had
xerox assistance, they always sent him xerox 700 toners and they worked under the xerox 7655.

      2) Is there really no way I can use this on a xerox 700 digital press?

There is two type of EXP260, you have to choose correct EX700 software.
If you want to use dcp700 toners in dc252 you should change toners NVMs

                In my experience:
                1. RIPs for the 242, 252, 260 are all the same, so you could use the EXP260 on any of those machines.
                2. You can only run one kind of software on a EXP260, so you cannot just install EX700 software on a EXP260. The hardware is not the same.
                3. Toner for the 700, Versant, Color 550/560, C60 will work on the DC260 (if you change the handles and chips), but it is not the same. The DC260 uses EA-HG toner, the other machines Eco EA-HG toner, which has a lower melting temperature. So mechanically it is the same, but the if you use DC700 toner in the DC260, the prints will be very glossy. I am not aware that there are NVM values that you can change to adjust for this.

DC250 toner is cheaper than 700 toner, so I'd stick to that. PM me if you need toner.
