Xerox 700 045-310

Hi

I have a fiery that when connected is giving me the error 045-310

I have another identical fiery that works with the enhine with no issues.

What could the cause be because the fiery with the issue has an imposer and I do not know if its possible to activate the imposer on the good rip.

Bustled or standalone fiery?
What software version is installed?
Do you have all patches installed?

Try to invert the connectors... Had this issue twice... Once it was a dirty SCSI card, and the second time i swapled the connectors

Its a standalone
the rip is a TBA running on configure V2.1.46
the engine is running 4.85

as for patches I dont know because these are machines I bought resently and I dont know there history.

Thanks for your input tried swapping the cables with no success.
Im starting to believe the video card is dead or faulty.
The machine starts to print and then just cuts out

The engine is having no issues. I have another fiery tba and when I connect it to the engine it is printing no issue.

The only reason I wish to use the fiery with issues is because it has imposer activated.

Im thinking im having a video board issue.

Is it possible to transfer the imposer dongle to the other fiery and activate it on it.

You must install Enfocus PitStop dvd software. Impose dongle kit = 133N23235.
The impose works without dongle but there will be watermark on print.

i have the dongle but not the activation code lol

hence why i want to get the broke server working.

At this stage im fustrated so im going to give up for now.

If your refering to from the engine side.

Yea I got it to do that if I remember correctly.

I have it disconnected at the moment from the printer but still connected to the system as to use the imposer.

I belive I got the fiery to process and print once a plain text document.

But every time I ask for a pdf file to be printed it process it no issue.

The engine starts and acts like everything is ok.

For it to suddenly stall and give the error.

As for its imposser its working fine but the pc I usually use its requesting activation while a different pc allows me to use imposer no issue on the broken fiery.

I think there a issue with the video card since the engine is printing with no issues connected to a different fiery.
