I need to reload the software to fix it. Or replace the hdd. Does anyone have the special altboot dlm (and the two swup files) they can share with me? I would greatly appreciate it. It will be needed if I have to replace the hdd.

A tech friend of mine was able to get it running properly. He tried the front usb, ended up using the usb on board, tried different usb drives, different hard drives, etc. He was able to load an older version of software on it. After a couple hours it is up and running, no more system faults.

You also need a file called DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP like FORCED_UPGRADE. This will wipe all customer settings and address book but should push the altboot in.

When I tried it this morning, it would not load it. This has the swup files in the root.

I even tried it with the swup files moved to inside the Altboot folder. No luck. Perhaps I need to try a different dlm? This is the only one I have for the C8035.

Thanks for the swup files! I will try it Monday.
Is the file size correct for sw#103.001.020.7000 = 493,291kb?
