[CQ] C8055 prints hazy on every sheet of paper

Hi everyone - I'm new to this community but a longtime tinkerer. I have an C8055 that started printing "hazy". Sometimes I feel like the toner hasn't properly fused to the paper. When I print in color, the haze seems mostly grey / black (maybe hints of purple/cyan); when b/w, the haze seems to be just b/w. I tried replacing the fuser with a new one, but it was to no avail.

Sample prints below. Would love any guidance you all experts should share!

Shadow on rear of samples would indicate to me that the black drum is failing.
Enter service mode, dc612 and run pattern 10 to test the black drum unit.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Apologies. I should have printed a test page and posted that but I was lazy and just took photos of two prints I had. Wanted to blur out the "personal" text. Should have included that detail in my initial post in retrospect. Sorry!

Ha okay interesting! I'll try it and report back - thanks!

So I tried pattern 10 along with some other patterns. I think it might be more than the black drum? Curious for thoughts...

Swap the black drum with one of the others and see if the fault follows.

Genius! Swapped black and yellow drums. B/W prints beautifully now and color is a bit funky.

So, replace the drum and you're golden.

So this is a bit of a doozy. I replaced the bad drum (black), and it looks like the black drum wasn't the only issue. Seems to be that the magenta drum is also bad.

The magenta fullpage diagnostic print also looked faded, so I thought maybe it could be the drum as well? I switched the yellow drum with the magenta drums, reprinted the fullpage diagnostic prints for magenta and yellow. Magenta looked beautiful but yellow looked faded.

SO --> Magenta drum bad --> ordered that!

Now, one last issue that seems to be with magenta as well... there is a "white line" at the bottom of the full page prints (whether using the good or bad drum). Any idea what this could be due to? I suppose not the drum. Photos below.

Probably something stick to your magenta developer mag roller.

Likely either something blocking the blade on the dev roller, or a dirty printhead.
