Before this check the printer ip = 100.100.100.101 and Fiery ip = 100.100.100.102

You must have crossover network cable between versant 3100 and fiery for stock library.
Also as Adriansto said check that versant ip 100.100.100.101

Fiery communicate with V3100 using ethernet crossover cable for Stock library.
On Fiery the top ethernet port is for connecting to your PC/network and the lower ethernet port is the place you connect the crossover cable. The other end of crossover cable goes to V3100.

What firmware level are you at on the 3100? What Fiery software version are you running and have you done Fiery patch updates?
