    xerox 8830

    hi, does any one has xerox 8830 wide format system software, willing to pay.


    I believe its a Free Flow Server N5T. I have no experience with this kind of model

        FreeFlow or 8830 IOT Software

        Do you need the IOT software for the printer, or is there a FreeFlow unit feeding the printer that you need the software for?

        The FreeFlow Workstation (similar to the older DigiPath it replaced) runs as an application on XP or Vista and needs a license like a DocuSP server. Latest revision is 7.xx

        Confusion arises from Xerox labeling everything FreeFlow this and FreeFlow that. The DocuSP server that drives high end DocuTech /DocuPrint /DocuColor is now a FreeFlow Print Server or FFPS. To further confuse things, Xerox released version 7.xx for the iGen and a couple of other high end DocuColor boxes.

        The DocuSP servers for DocuColor are heads and shoulders above the Fiery and Creo servers.

            this is a refurbished machine come into this country.The scanner & printer cables are connected .The FreeFlow workstation shows idle when ready and when a print is given it shows processing and nothing comes out.
            The FreeFlow workstation does not establish any connection with the scanner.


            XeroxTech Brazil: its the freeflow workstation s/ware not the IOT.

              First power on controller, wait some time, then scanner and then printer.

              If your controller is N5T, you should know which firmware version is installed on it.

              if version is 5.99 (from Pc which is connected to machine through network cable in web browser enter ip address of machine, then you will be able to get info from controller) you will be able to reload firmware and to keep all aditional functions such scanner.

              if version is higher after firmware upload your machine will be just copier, printer.

              To resolve your problem must reload firmware to controller, there is procedure and firmware on xerox web site

                The scanner is 7356.

                Xeroxtechbrazil: the current version is 7.50 for freeflow .

                I need the installation files to reinstall the workstation.

                  AccXes Server

                  I believe you have the AccXes server.
                  As I mentioned in an earlier post, Xerox is branding everything with the "FreeFlow" label. I wouldn't be suprised to start seeing it on toner cartridges.

                  I have AccXes controller software, latest firmware for the 8830, documentation (maybe even the EDOC).

                      Power scanner on first then controller when you see "SE: ok" on the scanner if it's a SynScan scanner, Or when the lamp comes on if it's a 7356.

                        E701 .Any suggestions?

                        I took another N5T and hooked it with the same scanner and printer, it worked fine and i got the test page.

                        When i connect the original N5T , I get E701 which according to RAP is communication error. So I have ruled out cable fault, scanner/printer fault.
                        Now if its Accxess controller System software . I have the restoration files , to restore via XesSend , but I dont know how to do it.Could someone guide me through the process. To execute the N5T batch file it needs the IP address I have no idea what the IP address is.

                        Could there be another fault besides accxess controller software?

                            i had same fault code E701 communication error ..i replaced hard disk then ok

                              i removed the Hard Disk from the working N5T controller and fixed it into the Non working N5T. No change , E701. So its not Hard Disk Problem.

                              SCSI PWB I will check

                              How do I restore the system software via XeSSEND.
