006-377 error on DC2060, best way forward

    Hi all,
I've got a persistent error code 006-377 (ROS ld 5v down RAP) on my DC2060, this happened after my tech had had the magenta drum out. I understand that it has to do with a series of interlocks on the drums that show the machine that all four drums are in place. However, my tech has been at the problem for a day and a night and it isn't solved yet. He's not really trained on this machine (nobody here is) so any advice to get this problem solved is very highly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Gustav

    Did you replaced drum unit?

No, but the magenta drum was removed because of an image quality issue and when it was replaced it seems that is when the problem started. In the meantime the tech has had all the drums out and in again.

there is a interlock plug on back side of drum unit, maybe that plug is damaged so it can not close drum interlock in machine.

Try to put drum unit from some other color to see will you have same fault code.

Sometimes if you over or under drive the screw to the drum drive shaft when replacing, it can cause it to not make the interlock circuit.

try replacing the drum unit or interchanging the units and see if the fault changes from magenta to another
a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one

Thanks for all your suggestions. We've tried cleaning the contacts to no avail. We don't have a spare drum assembly to test with and just moving them around would probably not help us as the loop has to go through all 4 drum assemblies at once and the error code doesn't actually indicate where the loop is broken.
In the edoc it says that there is a pin 5 and pin 8 that are connected with an orange wire and that it is those pins that close the circuit. The problem is we just can't find those pins or any other pins that seem to be connected together. Can anyone shed some light on which pins exactly close this loop on the drum assembly?

                  Hi kiwano,
Actually, my technician sorted it and I wasn't paying attention. Unfortunately I'm using another technician now but if I come across the guy who sorted it I will ask him.
