    xerox pe 120i

everythink working fine, except even if I make copies, even printing, everythink is black. very black. dark black. when I pull out the cartdrige I see the drum covered with toner and inside the machine full of toner. I try with 4 cartdriges there is no problem with the cartrige I think maybe some problem with the high voltage. any clue to fix ? thanks in advance.

The service manual directs you to check the following:

    a.
Clean the high voltage contact terminals.

    b.
Check the state of the connector between
the main board and the HVPS.

    c.
    Replace the HVPS.

    d.
    Replace the laser unit.

    e. Replace the main board

thank's for your replay, the laser unit I think is ok because I have the same result at printing and copying. I have clean the machine and every connector so I believe that I have a problem with the mainboard or HPVS. my question is how can I found where is the problem, maybe if you have the service manual can you tell me what to check on the HVPS or to mainboard, or if you can send me the electric diagram to see the voltage check points on the boards - only if you have time. I realy apreciate your answer. Thanks

Pull down the right cover and on PWB you'll see the right values for voltages
You don't have any charge on cartridge drum.

I agree. My gut is you need a HVPS.

look at the HVPS and find any damaged electrolytic capacitor.. poor contact also make the misfunction of HVPS try to ressoldering all components on HVPS.
