Xerox 5655 does not recognize HCF A5 paper tray

Hi guys,

I have an Xerox 5655 here with an additional paper tray on the left side.
The machine doesn't seen to recognize the HCF A4 Papertray on the left side.
I think it has something to do with the software level of the machine.

Can someone help me out since it's an really nasty problem...

Many causes can do this error. You tried to restore NVM from MRD disk? Or do a dC132 NVM initialization/Machine Variable NVM?

Description
03-300 The IOT PWB has detected a communications failure with the tray 5 module.

Initial Action

WARNINGSwitch off the electricity to the machine, GP 14. Disconnect the power cord from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.

• Check the condition of P/J501 on the sleeved harness from the tray 5 module, paying attention to the condition of the pins.
• Check that P/J501 is correctly and securely connected at the rear of the machine.

Procedure

1. Go to Flag 1 and check the wiring. Repair the wiring as necessary, GP7
2. 
   As necessary, perform the following:.
   • Perform OF7 IOT Diagnostics RAP.
   • Install a new tray 5 control PWB, PL 7.68 Item 8
   • Install a new IOT PWB, PL 1.10 Item 2
