I have a Xerox 7760GX that will not show the booklet maker1) Xerox 7760GX meter 36,149 2) SFN1 Sorter/Booklet and punch unit Initial problem was a staple jam, customer installed new staples and the machine gave 2 errors and finisher error and a booklet finisher error, that is exactly what the display said no numerical error only that it was a finisher More1) Xerox 7760GX meter 36,149 2) SFN1 Sorter/Booklet and punch unit Initial problem was a staple jam, customer installed new staples and the machine gave 2 errors and finisher error and a booklet finisher error, that is exactly what the display said no numerical error only that it was a finisher error and booklet error, I went out did my initial check and found out that we needed main finisher board and a booklet board, I had help from a gentleman from back east and he agreed with me that the boards were bad, actually I couldn?t get anything to work on the sorter upper tray or folding unit/booklet unit, I ordered a reconditioned main and booklet board at first I had no idea they were reconditioned, I put in both boards and behold both errors were gone, we tried a print job but it would only feed to upper tray of finisher which was one problem fixed, we were now able to use upper tray and staple, but lower booklet unit was not available, I tried in maintenance mode to reset and tried to run certain areas of the booklet unit, I was able to turn on guides and some exit rollers, the folder rollers would not turn on and if I did a sensor check it said BOOKLET UNIT NOT INSTALLED, we called the gentleman who told me to try a wiring harness which I did still no luck then we had him send us a new booklet main board and for a instant the folder rollers turned on but just as quick they stopped, now we are back to where we had been in the beginning some booklet functions turn on some don?t, we tried a new driver and reconfigure the driver, still no fix.
