Ok, that did allow the unit to power up. So either the hdd or its pwb.

More likely the HDD they go corrupt and need reformatting have done loads of 4150 with this problem.

The 4250/60 shows the ability to reformat within the diagnostics but not the 4150.

Thats right it has to be done manually i.e remove from machine placed into a 2.5 hdd caddy enclosure and and connected to a laptop/pc and use an application called swissknife which is a free download.
                    Thanks

The hd's of the machines are really shitty.
                      Out of 10 machines i had to format/replace 8 hd's

                      Kid regards,

And when you reformat, which format do you use (Fat32, EXT4, NTFS etc ??)
Also does anyone know how often the HD is so far gone it has to be replaced?
                          Thanks.
