    Hi want to know what everybody thinks of the DC 5000 AP machine.Got client looking at one

    absolutely great machine . I have a DC5000 with FFPS Rip .Its a tried and tested model .

      glossy image (because of fuser oil) vs. matte on new machines. Still many people like it

        So no big problems on the machines that happens in the field.Like dev tank problems or drum problems or fuser ?

          no issues at all . The drum goes at around 15-25k . Fuser is very similar to the DC2045 series . I ve seen a a machine with 4 mil running like a tank.My machine is just under a mil .

            Ok good to know.What about the paper ?What type of paper do your client push thrue the dc 5000.We got a dc5252 and got alot of paper problems.My client using HQ paper or mage witch xerox sells.I know the machine are spect fore colortech but not one of my clients use that.

              i use paper made in china and europe from 90 gsm to 300 gsm various stocks , no issues for me here . Even on the 5252 i am using the same stock and i dont have any paper jam issues maybe 1 jam in 25000 prints from tray 3 of 5252 and less for dc5000
