I have a customer with a Xerox WC Pro 32. He had issues with the controller to begin with. First the machine would copy but you could not get to the settings for the network controller. We sent him new controller boards and now the machine just says "A Fault Has Occurred Power Machine Off and On Again". It just stays in that cycle.
My tech was actually in the customers area on vacation and was nice enough to stop by the customer's location. My tech believes he installed them incorrectly and fried the mainboard for the controller.
Once my tech was back at the shop he pulled a working controller from a machine. He swapped it on to a known working machine and was having issues. I didn't get details from him as to what was going on yet.
My questions is:
Do we need to reload the system software or anything special to put on a controller from one WC 32 on to another?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
