Is this a DC250 Bustled Fiery (mounted on back) or an EXP250 (stand alone fiery)?

I try to understand what type is because itsn't mounted on the back, but i think that is DC250 Bustled Fiery.
          On the label is write:
          Printer Controller
          Fiery X3eTY
          Part Number 45052987

I attach some photos, so you can understand better.

Waiting your reply ASAP. I've that printer not working from 15days.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Yes, that is a Bustled Fiery. Usually mounted on the back of the machine. I always replace Hard Drive with 80GB HD to avoid problems.

Are you using laptop to download software on the Fiery? Is your anti-virus turned off? Are you using a Crossover cable or regular Ethernet cable? You can email me at oscarj636@gmail.com also.

                Hello,

i've find a 80Gb working HDD. I try to upload software like you write but nothing works!
The installation process STOP on the second step.

Visit this link to see a video of the problem :

I think that is more simple that someone of you give me an "image" that work with your HDD and i put in my hdd
                Stupid idea?

                    Problem Solved

The problem isn't the Hard disk like i mean, but the bad work of the RAM. I've change it and then the installation process goes well.

                    Now the machine works good!

                    Thank you for your support

Hi There can you tell me what spec HDD should I purchase for the Fiery (i.e. SATA, speed etc.) as I inherited a server with a bust disc and sent it off to be recovered (without taking the details of it!!) I now have a new software suite for the server but no hard drive! Any info will be gratefully received.

                      Thanks

Re: Replace hard disk DocuColor 250, How to ?

Not sure about the original size, probably around 160GB. I would recommend a 500GB, I buy them for around $35.

I do know it's an IDE I would pop the side open to check the connectors to make sure.

I purchase 500GB HDD for about $35. The bigger the better!

If you have any problems with the install PM me.

I have an issue with DC250 the internal hard drive went bad, I have replaced it and the machine starts up now without any errors, the fiery rip also comes up with the "00" mark but I cant connect with the machine or print on it, its like the new internal hard drive may not be setup... when a ne hard drive is set there, the printer should put some info on the disk ?
or anyone have experience with this?

You must initialize the hdd using special boot mode. I think the service manual for dc250 is on net.
