One of my techs has been fighting an issue with this machine for several weeks now off and on.. It is leaving a void in the middle of the document on occasion. It is not every copy. To complicate matters, it only does it when scanning originals through the ADF. Never leaves void when using platen scans or when printing. Have updated firmware, have tried swapping ADF with one from our office, have reseated connections on ALL boards wiithin ADF and copier, and still it returns. What's weird is that sometimes, to get it to work properly, we have done something as simple as cycle the power. Voids in center of copies approx. 5/8 inch wide, turn power off and back on, then good copy quality.. no voids.. Comes back in a little while.. We are no longer a xerox service center so I am not able to research this issue on the xerox tech site. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks,

i think your problem is with the white reference strip. have u tried running shade test?Comment
