[Error Code] XEROX 1632 trouble code

Hi all! I have a question about a XEROX 1632, warms up, ready to copy, press start and machine acts like its going to feed then abruptly stops with error code 006-383 asks to turn off and call tech rep. I did notice the drum unit on the left hand side was not installed correctly, the guide it rides on was stuck in the up position. The guide was also "bent" in a way as if someone used "up" "down" motion while trying to install drum. I would like to know what the code is, any help is greatly appreciated.

The interval of the ROS Start-of-Scan (K) signals exceeds the specified value.

      Hi Ronald
Try cleanning ROS Assy. Also check that CRUM is in proper position.

There is not 5VDC coming from the MCU going to the ROS because there was a pinched wire behind the right hand side cover. This in turn caused an open circuit and drew the 5VDC.
