Yeah, I want the PWS software too. Xerox says "it's propriatary", but they'll sell it to me for $3500, plus an annual renewal fee of $800 per year. Whatever. Still looking for some sort of solution for the problem. Need to get into a DC470's rip with it.

well I've PWS supporting lot of xerox copiers versions for only 1800 $ if you like

470 st, Lakes. You can connect controller with serial crossover cable using hyper terminal.
For this you dont need PWS.
I have two spare controllers for 460st and 480st.

Reduce bias for Y to 256 both 300 and 600 lines. Calibrate your Fiery or Splash..whatever

The IN/OUT should start around 148 for each color and can fluctuate from 98 to 198 for inboard/outboard dev adjustment.

Is this software attainable? Just curious. It would obviously be quite handy. Maybe a consumer version?

I see the tech has it, and always hooks his laptop up first thing...

I am new to the biz, and did some searches but found suprisingly little, even telling guys like me asking that its not available.

You would think that it would be available for at least the products no longer in service.

I have the pws laptops with all software needed. No GSN lock needed, we us pws lock that lasts forever. xtraininc@cableone.net
