Hello Everyone We have a client with a WorkCentre 7655 that has been Jamming the originals in the DF The Pick-up, Feed, Separation Rollers, and Torque limiter have been changed but the machine continues to jam. We would be grateful for any input on this problem. Thanks in advance.

I just checked the Fault History and here are some of the codes that I found.05-12305-91005-90805-91005-90805-91405-90705-90605-14405-12205-90805-90805-90805-12605-14105-90805-14105-14105-14105-14405-14405-141 In this order newest code on top with copy count from 76,220 to 77,243 We don't have a description for the codes. You know... WC DADFs...
I had a few that seemed to intermittently misfeed for no apparent reason.
Current SW may have corrected this tendency, I don't know.
But...
I've had a little luck covering the black sensor patch just to the left of the DADF reader glass.
There's just a little daylight between the patch and the glass.
Cover the exposed area with a small piece of black electrical tape.
Take out the cover screws and flex the cover up a bit so you can roll the tape underneath, for a finished look and, I think, better coverage.
Try it out and please post your results. These DADFs are not my favorite animals.
