xerox 510 lines

Need some help working on a xerox 510 that has straight black thin lines some are faint others are dark.
Replace Drum, Cleaning kit, tranfer roll still have problem. Any help!!

First, are the lines running through the length of the print going in the process direction? Typically, lines on the 510 are caused by the scorotron. This is particularly true if the lines come and go, or move around from side to side from one print to another. When cleaning the pin array, never use a towel as lint from the towel only makes the problem worse. Instead, try a brush, or simply wipe the blade along its length with your fingers. Look or feel to make sure none of the tips of the pins are bent. If bent, lay the pin array on a flat surface and using the top of your finger nail, press them flat sliding your nail towards the tip of the pin.
