Hi all. I have this machine in service and when it prints or copies, the copy is very light. I changed the drum on the cartridge and nothing has changed. Still, i notice that some parts of the copy can be seen more clearly and have contrast. I cleaned the HVPS and contacts, but still the same thing happens. Btw, i cleaned the laser unit as well. Any other suggestions?

Re: Xerox Phaser 3300 image problem
Hi all. I've attached 2 scanned pages of the configuration report of my phaser 3300. You can see clearly how it lacks contrast and density. I await your suggestions. ThanksAttached FilesComment

Re: Xerox Phaser 3300 image problem
If you added toner in cartridge then may be a wrong toner.
First of all measure if a drum is grounding.
Measure the charge voltage on cilinder = -700 volts and magnetic roller bias voltage = -250 volts.Comment

Re: Xerox Phaser 3300 image problem
Hi all. I'm still having the same problem with this machine. The thing is that on the drum the image looks perfect, but on paper it looks very faded. I tried with another transfer roller, from a xerox 3100, but without the little gear on the end, and still no improvement. Any other ideas?Comment

Re: Xerox Phaser 3300 image problem
HI. Thanks for your reply. But my question is : how do you explain that the image forms corectly on the drum of the cartridge? And what part of the cartridge do you thing is causing the problem? If the image is ok on the drum, and on paper it looks faded, then logically it's a transfer problem. How do you explain this?Comment
