7242 Drum Chip Problems

We have replaced the chip about 4 times in this beast for the client in about 3 weeks time! Never had a problem before, suddenly they only last about a week then it says "improperly seated consumable" or "close front door" error until we replace the chip again.

Any ideas?

Are you using generic chips?
