    Xerox workcentre 7132 "cartridge error"

    I have this xerox workcentre 7132 that i had been working on, with the help of the people on this forum i was able to fix it, i have been using it for a long time. Then it says that it is out of yellow toner, so my friend went ahead to change the toner with a new one, but everytime we do that a message shows up "cartridge error" we have taken the toner out and installed again many times but it still says "cartridge error". Does anyone know what needs to be done?

    If was used correct partnumber for yellow cartdrige then you need to do IOT NVM initialization.

          I do have a service manual for the Workcentre 7132, it's just that I don't really know what to do when dealing with IOT NVM initialization

                Ok, before I did the IU, I put in the old Yellow toner cartridge that I am supposed to replace, and it says %19 remaining and it works. But whenever I put in the NEW Yellow toner cartridge, the error comes up again. I have checked the box of the new toner and on it it says
                "Xerox
                Yellow Toner
                Workcentre 7132, 7232, 7242"

                I compared the two toner cartridges and they both look the same except for the labels on it for the Reorder/Recommander #
                The old Toners Reorder # is
                BLACK 006R01266
                YELLOW 006R01267
                MAGENTA 006R01268
                CYAN 006R01269

                and The New Toner
                Black 006R01317
                YELLOW 006R01263
                MAGENTA 006R01264
                CYAN 006R01265

                So is the new cartridge bad? I have already ordered a set of these Toners, Black Yellow Cyan and Magenta

                  No the cartdriges are not bad but you need to put in your machine toner with same partnumber like the old one.

                    Am sorry but I do not really understand what you mean by that.

                    I did also take the Toner to another Office that has a Xerox workcentre 7132, I tried the new Yellow Toner on it and still it displayed the cartridge error.

                      Your new toner have partnumber for Europe region and you have in machine toner for US region.

                        So Do I have to order some new toners than? If not then how can I make the machine recognize the Toner from Europe? And work with it?
