could it be corrupted software or something else?

check the cable connections. Could be a network cable is plugged into the wrong port or bad scsi cable

Battery located on Software/NVM module on Main Controller Pwb.
You need to restore nvm or replace Sw/NVM module and restore nvm.
You dont have service manual ?

Might just have to replace the nvm battery then do the configuration setup

Nuvera is only a little production machine. It is only like half part of Hodaka ! I think is very but very simple to do service without manual.

What nvm for DC260 ? Probably the region mvm ?

Go into diagnostics and do an NVM init.

on the 260 I can not connect to it with diagnostic navigator only through the download navigator and it shows nvm errors and the machine does not boot up

how do you get into diagnostic mode on the nuvera?

On the machine itself. Like logging into a docuSp server. If the license string is not active then you have to get a new diagnostic license string before going into Diagnostics.
