[Dead] wc 5225a endless boot

Hello,
We have a dead xerox wc 5225a. Machine stucks at booting, the progress bar stuck in about 2cm.
Machine can boot up in download mode, we've tried various firmwares. The firmware is downloaded but the problem continues.
We tried "special boot modes" (all of them) - no progress. We swapped hdd and initialised it - didn't helped.

Do you have any other suggestions than swapping ess pwb?
Can ess pwb be swapped from 5225 to 5225a?

Had a couple boxes do that -- changed the drum mod. Not sure about the ess pwb.

changing consumable deosn't help

we switched nvram with another copier, machine booted up and serial number error has shown, so probably the nvram is corrupted.
How can we fix it? Special boot with nvm recovery deosnt work...

No you cannot use a base 5225 ess or a 5225P ess. The base and the P model are interchangable with each other but not with the A because theA is a totaly diffreent board because of the color scanning. I beleive the DDR is built in as well as the R2 on the color model. If you ever need to put the base in a P model you just have to add R1, R2 and the DDR memory. But if you want to use a P in a base you have to go in and delete all data to free it from thinking it still has these dimms.
