    [Error Code] workcentre 7335 error code 009-349

    Hello I got a xerox workcentre 7335 with a error code 009-349. It started when 1 of my workers took an air hose and blew the inside of the machine out (yes I know it was a bad idea). I know it has to do with the 1 btr, so we changed it out (figuring a quick fix) but we still get the code. Does anybody know if I have to have a PWS system to reset this code or can it be done on the copiers control panel?

    I know how to get to the maintenance back door part

    Hold down 0 (zero) for 5 seconds and press start (green) button
    enter 6789, confirm
    press log in/log out button or the key button
    press systems settings, common settings, maintenance, NVM read/ write

    But don't know the number to type in and set to zero.

      most probably blown toner dust into 1st btr retract sensor on the IBT ass. Clean the sensor.

          We have replaced the IBT assembly (swapped from a parts machine), but we still get the code.
          Is there a way to reset this code through the NVM chain link?

              have you try change the mdd pwb good luck........once of the fuse blow ... so the retact motor no function ...

                  Thank you all for your help. I ended up taking the machine to a repair place and was told a board failed and that the price was to much to repair. So we bought another xerox 7335 and kept the old one for parts.

                      try that take out the if ddm pwb board and check there is a fuse blow ...replace the fuse will cost you few cents ....
