5655 Error 03-315 when Scanning only

Machine works great, other than when you hit scan and start it reboots machine and shows the 03-315 error. Anyone know what exact board/location this is related too?

1. Ensure all the connectors on the PWBs that follow are correctly and securely seated:
   
   • Image processing PWB, (32-55 ppm W/O TAG 040) PL 3.20 Item 3 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 3.
     
   • Single board controller PWB (32-55 ppm W/ TAG 040) PL 3.24 Item 3.
     
   • EPC memory module, (32-55 ppm W/O TAG 040) PL 3.20 Item 12 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 12.
     
   • Memory module, (32-55 ppm W/ TAG 040) PL 3.24 Item 12.
   
   
2. Go to dC640 Video Path Diagnostics. Perform the Scanner Video Test.
   
3. Install new parts as necessary:
   
   • EPC memory module, (32-55 ppm W/O TAG 040) PL 3.20 Item 12 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 12.
     
   • Memory module, (32-55 ppm W/ TAG 040) PL 3.24 Item 12.
     
   • Image processing PWB, (32-55 ppm W/O TAG 040) PL 3.20 Item 3 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 3.
     
   • Single board controller PWB (32-55 ppm W/ TAG 040) PL 3.24 Item

It does copies fine ?
Does it have colour scanning installed?
Remove the colour scanning kit and try without.

Are you speaking of hardware removal or just software removal for color scanning?

If it has colour scanning it should have a big cable from SIP down to the network controller not the firewire cable.

Very simple reload machine firmware !

Have reloaded FW many times. Is the scan to email completely controlled by controller attached to lower rear of the machine or is it also in the board that slides out at the top?

The scanning software is completly integrated in operating system of rear lower box. But the data from scan pases throuh upper module, fireware cable and came on net controller. Upper module is named SIP module.
Can you post here config report from machine ?
