    [Dead] Docucolor 252 Fiery Problems

I work on KM 6500 but my client has a Docucolor 252 with a Fiery rip. I determined that tat the hard drive went bad in the rip by posting on here and did replace the hard drive. I have the software disks to re-install the rip software but cannot find the instructions on how that is done. I have called 2 other local techs to help me but they could not figure it out either. It is an EFI fiery version 2.0 rip, I guess would be considered internal yet it just hangs on the back of the machine. I hooked the monitor mouse keyboard and DVD drive to it but the install disks are not bootable so I am stuck. Please Help!

If you have bustled fiery on back side of machine, just put DVD in your laptop or pc, connect pc with fiery with crossover cable and follow procedure from pc.

I tried that, I cannot connect to the IP address for some reason. That is why I replaced the hard drive because I could not connect to the IP with the command workstation, now I have a new drive but am not able to access it

If you have been replaced fiery HDD, then you do not have IP address on fiery. Set your PC IP address and connect PC with fiery with crossover cable. On fiery put two small switch in ON position. Then power on fiery and start fiery systeminstaller aplication from DVD. Then just follow procedure.
