mcu nvm in a wc7655

i replace the mcu nvm in a wc7655 and i have to serialize.

how can i do this?

hello,if u have a pws kindly go through all the nvms of the dc250 and im sure u will get something close

But when connect the usb cable in wc7655 the laptop needs the driver dc-551

can explain?

What version of firmware do you have on machine - 40.032 or 40.033 ?

i have personally never done it on a workcentre76xx family,i have only performed this on dc12 and you need a pws(its a MUST)in dc250 you will

Enter UI Diagnostic mode (see Accessing UI Diagnostics).

Select Adjustment/Others.

Select Machine ID/Billing Data Settings.

Select a PWB with the correct data.

Select Start.

Enter the correct serial number in the Serial Number screen and then select Confirm.


i hope this helps,and gives u ideas on where to look at,note that Diagnostic for dc250 and workcentre are very diffrent,so u have to get that series Diagnostic software.

I have the same problem. Do I need a special usb cable for PWS?
