Read help file from altboot or general procedure from edoc and you'll know the ip address

What altboot tool are you using ?
And PWS image ?
On the newer image you have to use altboot 6.1
and send the EBC file via the network cable.

did the ip
the message I get is
maximum retransmits exceeded
check communications line
reset machine and /or pws application if necessary
i am using a cross over cable and serial cable with null connector

Check again your crossover cable or try with another.
Also take a look at memory simm located in net controller.
May be ekpxxxxxx.os file you have is corrupt. What is the version of the file and what is its size ?

The cross over cable is good
i loaded software on a 7675 two weeks ago
i have tried 3 different software versions and all do the same
do you mean the RAM ?

A few days ago I used to have the same problem. After I turned off the firewall and allow all traffic everything goes ok!

2x corrupt file
First time I ALTBOOT, tried 3x. Called X. They said download software again and use altboot tool in download. It worked!
