    missing network settings DCCS 50

    So I was running in circles to find a fix for a problem and ended up resetting all of the defaults by going into the service menu by holding 0 and pressing start.

    As a consequence I now no longer have any networking settings.

    Please tell me this is an easy fix.

      Give us more details.
      What was the first problem? When say "ended up resetting all of the defaults" did you mean that you have initialized NVM?
      Do you have Cobra rip?
      What network settings you don't have? You can't set IP address or?
      If you have initialized NVM you have to set up proper settings in NVM for your rip.

        yes I initialized the NVMs and I'm not sure what RIP I have installed. If it is what I think it is, it's the white unit bolted to the back of it with 3 cables running into the printer. Two white ones on the side and a black one on top.

                Where do I get that info from, I reset the NVMs because I was having the paper come through but no toner come out. Turns out the issue was a broken handle that would not turn so the rollers weren't coming in contact with the drum.

                    Thank you very much. I know just enough about these things to get myself in trouble.

                      You already know how to enter diagnostic (0+start 6789)

                      Find NVM Read/Write and set following locations

                      NVM
                      702-031 1 = DFE 60 = Cobra
                      702-032 30 = DFE 60 = Cobra
                      702-037 0 = DFE 15 = Cobra
                      702-038 0 = DFE 15 = Cobra

                      You have cobra!

                      Market Code

                      752-001
                      0
                      = FX Japan
                      1 = AP Asian Pacific
                      2 = NASG North America
                      3 = RX Europe

                      Configuration of Machine

                      752-008
                      0 = Copier 2 = Copier, Printer, Scanner 4 = Printer

                      Configuration Page

                      759-004 0 = DFE 1 = Cobra to fix no print or Slow Print/Configuration Page

                      Good luck

                            It should be under Machine setup correct? The options are not on the machine. The key is supposed to bring up the Auditron and because the Auditron is not setup pressing the key button does nothing for me.
