WorkCentre 7556 - Can you diagnose problem from attached PDFs?

    Hello all,

We've had our WorkCentre 7556 damaged by either an employee or something went horribly wrong in the machine.

I've attached a picture of the Drums and also a sample printout. Anyone got an idea of what may have caused this and what to replace so we can fix the issue.

Your help as always very much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    jj

I would replace the cyan and yellow drums and the yellow developer looks like it needs replacing.

I would agree with Flash. First replace drums and if yellow is weak replace developer.

I'm not an expert with Xerox, but this is not difficult to diagnose. The cyan drum unit is not cleaning the drum properly. And the yellow developing unit is overtoning, producing that stylish tiger stripe background. I think you are spared finger pointing. These sort of image problems occur during normal usage. Like the previous posters suggest, replace the cyan and yellow imaging units to solve these issues.

Yes, I know they're expensive. That's what happens when you buy a machine that uses AIO units (all-in-one). You can change them yourself without a serviceman (and the associated labor cost), but you pay 3x to 4x the price for the part. Six of one, 1/2 dozen of another.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you all for your feedback.

Any ideas as to what could cause the damage on the Cyan Drum?

          Cheers,

          jj

Looks Like you DV/BCR HVPS might have failed or you might have broken or loose drum contacts. If your Yellow and Blue DV housings are depleted of developer that would back that up.
