I don't remember exactly sw.version.


But I faced another problem. I place new formated HDD and install SW via altboot using ethernet cable and COM-port cable , but without machine (only controller). I had only controller and install software. Altboot sad "The system is operational". After that the controller was brought to the machine and connected. Machine doesn't work with this controller.

P.S. machine I call the 5632 without controller.

I tried to replace FireWire cable etc. Nothing helps

Reseat memory module in net controller. Also check all connections in controller.
There are two pci to fireware boards. One is in net contrl and another in SIP module = cage of the scanner.
Gheck these boards included also pci connector.
Hook up pws on net contrl and watch the boot-up process with altboot tool.

And then after I connect controller to the machine, everything will work?
All operations to make controller worked I can do having controller only?

My customer is in the city, situated far away from my place. And he can ship only controller to me. Otherwise I have to visit to that far away city.

YES it is possible.
-If you know IP you could check NC. "web page"
-You could altboot NC separately,and later mount NC back at customer place,then the NC SW will be transfer on printer. "15-20 min."
I am not sure,but I think that you will lose all software keys.

I can open web page controller on http://192.168.0.103 in my local network. It works without printer. But when customer connect them together they don't work as one printer

You must go to the customer place and watch with altboot how controller bootup. May be defective fireware interface from controller or from copier. With altboot you can check fireware interface from controller but this check is not 100% ok. You can setup altboot tool to log the bootup process an save it into a file.
